Booking Fee Policy

To secure your appointment at Silver Lining Permanent Artistry, a non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking. This fee confirms your commitment to the reserved time and covers the preparation and setup required for your service.

- Your booking fee will be deducted from your total service cost on the day of your appointment.

- The booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, change of mind, or inability to attend.

- It is non-transferable unless you provide at least 7 full days notice to reschedule.

- With 7 days' notice, your booking fee can be transferred once to a new date. Changes made with less than 7 days' notice will result in the forfeiture of your booking fee, and a new booking fee will be required for future appointments.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable. However, we are a by-appointment-only studio, and each booking is time and resource intensive.

- Cancellations and rescheduling require at least 7 full days notice.- If you cancel or reschedule with 7 or more days' notice, your booking fee may be transferred once to a new appointment.

- If you cancel or reschedule with less than 7 days' notice, your booking fee will be forfeited, and a new booking fee will be required to rebook.

- No-shows will be charged the full cost of the missed appointment to the card on file. This charge is processed on the day of the missed appointment and will secure one rescheduled booking. Failure to pay may result in refusal of future bookings.

- We do not offer refunds for cancellations under any circumstances.

Late & Early Arrival Policy

Please arrive on time for your appointment not too early and not too late.

- If you arrive early, please wait in the designated waiting area until you are invited in.

- If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible.

- Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late without making contact will be marked as a no-show, and the full cost of the appointment will be charged to the card on file.

- Clients who arrive up to 15 minutes late (with or without contact) may still be seen at our discretion but will receive a shortened service, charged at the full rate.

Refund Policy

All sales are final, and no refunds are offered on any services under any circumstances.

Cosmetic tattooing results vary depending on individual skin type, lifestyle, medications, and adherence to aftercare instructions. We take great care to consult with you before treatment, provide aftercare support, and offer follow-up appointments where needed.

Follow-Up Appointment Policy

Cosmetic tattooing is a two-step process, and a perfecting follow-up appointment is included in the cost of your initial treatment unless otherwise stated.

- Your follow-up appointment should be scheduled 612 weeks after your initial procedure.

- Follow-ups booked outside of this timeframe may be considered a maintenance session and charged accordingly.

- Only one follow-up is included. Any additional sessions will incur an additional fee.

- If you reschedule, cancel, or miss your follow-up without adhering to our booking and cancellation policies, you will need to pay a booking fee to rebook, and your appointment may no longer qualify as an included follow-up.

Healing & Aftercare Expectations

The healing process is just as important as the treatment itself. Following proper aftercare is essential to achieving the best possible results

.- Healing outcomes vary based on skin type, lifestyle, health, and adherence to aftercare instructions.

- You may experience some redness, swelling, tenderness, scabbing, flaking, or pigment fading during the healing process; this is completely normal.

- Results are considered incomplete until your follow-up appointment, and the final outcome will not be visible until the full healing process is complete (approximately 4-12 weeks).

- Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in pigment loss, patchiness, or the need for additional sessions at your expense.

You will be provided with detailed aftercare instructions at the time of your appointment, and were always here to support you during your healing journey.

Eligibility & Medical Conditions Policy

Your safety is our top priority. To ensure you are a suitable candidate for cosmetic tattooing, please read the following carefully.

- Clients under 18 may be accepted under certain circumstances with parental or guardian consent and presence during the procedure.

- If you have a medical condition or are on medication that may affect the procedure or healing process, you must disclose this at the time of booking. Some conditions may require a doctors note.

- If you have an active cold sore or outbreak, your treatment must be postponed until the area is fully healed.

- For lip tattoo procedures, clients are required to obtain antiviral tablets from their GP before the appointment. This is non-negotiable.

We reserve the right to decline treatment if we believe it may pose a risk to your health or compromise your results.

Consent & Age Requirement Policy

We generally require clients to be 18 years or older for cosmetic tattoo procedures. However, in certain cases, clients under 18 may be accepted with parental or guardian consent and presence during the procedure.

- All clients must complete and sign a consent form before any procedure.

- For clients under 18, the parent or guardian must also sign the form and remain present.

- Medical clearance may be required for some conditions. Photography & Social Media Policy Photos and/or videos will be taken of each client for insurance and record-keeping purposes. - These may also be used for marketing on our website and social media channels.

- Clients may opt out of public sharing by notifying us in writing prior to their appointment.

- Even if you opt out of public use, photos will still be taken for our records.

Support Person Policy

To maintain a calm, focused, and hygienic environment, we kindly ask that you do not bring a support person to your appointment unless previously arranged.

- Our treatment space is designed for one-on-one appointments only. Additional people in the room can interfere with safety protocols, concentration, and the quality of your service.

- If you feel you may need support, please contact us before your appointment to discuss options. In some cases, a support person may wait in the reception area only, if space allows.

- Children are not permitted in the studio due to health, safety, and hygiene hazards. This is a regulated environment with sharps, pigments, and electrical equipment your safety and theirs is our priority.
